Facebook Fan Pages

Facebook is all about "relationship" and this applies to your customers you are wooing.  Pages are often called Fan Pages. The idea is to treat them as such. Give shout outs to your fans. Praise their loyalty.

The relationship should be a two way street.  Listen and interact with your customer. Don't just hit them over the head with marketing. Develop a voice, a personality for your business.  If someone chats with you on your page, get back quickly and thoughtfully. You want to be "liked" so be likable.

People love the photo aspect more than anything on Facebook. Put up pictures to engage your fans.  Remember those thumbnails need to look good so people want to click on them.  Orientation, cropping, exposure, etc. all play a part. Scroll through your list of profiles.  You will notice some thumbnails stand out in a crowd. Make certain your photos do.

There will be trial and error.  Repeat the things that work.  Soon you will find a rhythm and relationship with your fans.  Enjoy that loyalty.
