How do I become a member of OSBO?
The "Join Now!" link will take you to our registration area. You will be able to review and accept the Membership Application online. YOU MAY REVIEW THE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION WITHOUT OBLIGATION. When you agree, you are transferred to the payment page to complete the process.
How do you determine membership fees?
Because OSBO member benefits are available to all employees of a member company, OSBO membership fees are based on the number of business locations in a geographic area. To view membership levels and the associated fees, go to the "Join OSBO" tab. You will be able to view fees without obligation.
How long does my membership last?
OSBO membership is an annual membership. Membership expires one year from the date a member joins. Renewal reminders will be sent out prior to your expiration date.
What size company is too big or too small to join OSBO?
None. OSBO members range from home based businesses to major corporations. OSBO was designed to bridge the gap between "big" business and "small" business providing support and training for small business and providing larger companies access to small business owners.

Benefits FAQs
Can I attend an OSBO event prior to joining?
Yes, if there are OSBO events available in your area you may attend any networking event at no cost. NON OSBO members must pay a fee to attend OSBO training events. For a schedule of events and fees go to the "Events" tab on the web site.
Can I join if there are no local OSBO events in my area?
Yes, you will be able to take advantage of all the online benefits offered to OSBO members. Benefits include discount health and dental programs, insurance programs, discounted office supplies and training, and discounted web site design and hosting. For a more complete list see the benefits tab on the OSBO web site. The only benefits not available would be live training and networking events or local consulting until an OSBO franchise is developed in your area.
Do I have to attend meetings & training to get value from my membership?
No, we understand many business owners are unable to leave their business during business hours. There are substantial online benefits of membership.
How do I get information about upcoming events?
After you join and register on the OSBO website, your email address will be added to the OSBO distribution list for your area. You will be sent email reminders and updates for new events. Events will also be listed on the OSBO website along with complete information and map to the location.
How will OSBO Membership benefit me or my company?
Members receive access to consulting, training, mentoring, and member to member discounts. Members are able to send their marketing messages to other OSBO members or the business community through the OSBO network at no additional charge. Corporate Partners also offer discount programs to OSBO members.
What is the cost to attend events?
Most OSBO sponsored events, including live and online training, are offered to OSBO members and their employees at no cost. A nominal fee may apply to cover food, facility, or speaker cost on select events. Any fees for an event will be posted in advance on the web site.
The general public is welcome but NON OSBO members must pay to participate in OSBO training.
Who is eligible to receive the benefits when my company joins OSBO?
The owners and all employees of the member firm are eligible
Why are OSBO events open to NON members?
Networking events are open to the public to provide OSBO members with more business opportunities. Only OSBO members may host or sponsor an OSBO networking event providing an additional member marketing benefit. Non members must pay a higher cost to particpate in OSBO fee based events.
