OSBO membership benefits are a product that any business owner could use.
A low annual membership fee makes it an easy decision for a business owner to join.
Benefits extend to the employees of the member firms making it attractive to a business of any size.
Association Health programs make membership a great advantage to small business owners without existing health plans.
Member firms have multiple OSBO marketing programs to add to their current marketing programs and members receive discounts on displays and tickets to OSBO events.
Members may promote member to member discounts on products and services at no additional cost to the member, creating marketing benefit to the members offering the discounts and cost savings to the entire membership.
Multiple Revenue Streams For Franchisees
Corporate Sponsorship - 90% Corporations will sponsor the training events, business on display events and the annual events for the area. The majority of revenue for a franchisee comes from the corporate sponsorship programs. Corporations sponsor to receive visibility in the business community, links to their programs on our website and a one on one marketing opportunity to business owners and decision makers.
Event Sponsorship - 90% Companies pay to have a display at our business on display events and live training events. Both member and non-member firms can sponsor with OSBO members receiving discounted rates for sponsorship.
Attendees for events - 90% Both members and non-members may attend events with OSBO members receiving discounts on the attendance fees.
Consulting Fees - 70% Qualified companies may become the local consultants or national experts in their field for an additional fee above their annual membership fee. Consultants and Experts provide the articles for the website, help with facilitation at events, help represent OSBO at other business events in the marketplace, conduct and facilitate lunch and learns, after hours, coffee and contacts and breakfast and business events. All consultants and experts must be members of OSBO and meet all criteria for becoming the consultant or expert. Speakers for OSBO events must be either consultants or sponsors or special guest speakers of the National Organization.
Membership Fees - 70% Franchisees receive 70% of revenue from membership fees less $10 per year per member national advertising fee. The membership fees are annual and give the franchisee residual income when the members renew.
Referral Fees - $75 Franchisees receive a one-time referral fee for any members they refer that are outside of their franchise territory.
Since revenues are received from members and non-members in the business community the marketing efforts are directed to the entire business community and revenues are directly related to the number of paid events held in the marketplace. The majority of franchisee revenue comes from the corporate sponsorships and event sponsorships and is not dependent on the number of local memberships in the organization. Membership is only one of the products we sell and gives added value to the businesses we serve.
Membership revenues increase based on the number of events held due to more marketing exposure for the organization and our benefits and the discounts offered to members for attendance and marketing opportunities and vendor displays.
